Meet Emily Schaye

Founder of Schayes of Movement | Helping You Build Strength, Improve Mobility, and Stay Active Through Every Stage of Life

Life has a way of changing us.

Injuries. Illness. Pregnancy. Loss. Aging. The unexpected detours we never saw coming.

My own life has been shaped by many of those chapters. What I've learned is that the body isn't something that betrays us. It's something that constantly adapts.

I know firsthand what it's like to have life take an unexpected turn. Experiences with injury, illness, and recovery sparked a lifelong fascination with how the body moves, heals, adapts, and finds new ways forward.

Since 2007, I've helped people build strength, improve mobility, regain confidence, and stay active through every stage of life. Through functional fitness, Pilates, pelvic floor health, breathwork, and movement education, I help people move better, feel better, and continue doing the things they love.

I don't believe movement is about punishment or perfection.

I believe movement is a tool for creating a fuller life.

An injury may change the chapter you're in, but it doesn't get to write the rest of the story. We can adapt, rebuild, and move forward without creating new dysfunction along the way.
